Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) is needed to provide essential speech and language services across multiple school sites serving preschool through middle school students. This contract position offers several opportunities to work with diverse student populations within a K-12 framework in the Baltimore area of Maryland.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct speech-language therapy services to preschool students at community preschool locations.
- Provide therapy to elementary students (PreK5th grade) at Magnolia Elementary (3 days/week) and Prospect Mill Elementary (2 days/week).
- Serve middle school students (6th8th grade) at Aberdeen Middle School, including supervision of a Speech Language Pathology Assistant supporting services.
- Maintain accurate documentation and compliance with relevant regulations.
- Collaborate with educational teams to support student communication goals.
- Cover positions on-site Monday through Friday, with some flexibility in schedules.
Qualifications:
- Active Maryland Professional Licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist.
- Experience working with preschool, elementary, and secondary student populations.
- Ability to supervise Speech Language Pathology Assistants.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills suitable for school environments.
- Reliable transportation for itinerant assignments is required.
Schedule Options:
- December 1, 2025 (or earlier) through January 9, 2026, covering community preschool locations, full-time (MF).
- February 16, 2026 through May 29, 2026, with potential extension into Extended School Year (ESY) services in July 2026, full-time (MF), serving elementary schools.
- March 16, 2026 through June 18, 2026, with potential ESY extension, part-time to full-time options available, serving middle school.
